he lost $21k on a draw

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

I just took out a second mortage on my house and borrowed as much money as I could from friends and family, I then went to the bookies and stuck £50k on Ed Hollis going bankrupt by the end of 2008.

I feel sorry for the guy, but its stories like his that give poker a bad name.

He has a new blog up, and he still has money left.

Well for now anyway.

http://officialpokerrankings.com/pokerstars/BlueScouse/poker/rankings/6E8FC25997454B86A4A7EC49879D2EF9.html?t=fsre

has played 8 tourneys in July on Stars, and finished 1st for close to $5k in one of those.

[  ] I expect he kept that $54k cash away from the cash tables
