I am sat in the lobby of the Jurys inn toying with the idea of taking Ironmug to Hooters for a spot of grub and a pre comp letch
ffs Dont tell Jane !!
Sigh....
I do believe it was ME that told YOU that there was a Hooters opposite the hotel!
No problem with karaoke either, just don't tell me about it....
Top updates so far, looking forward to another nights entertainment. I shall start thinking how to get you running round like a blue arsed fly

Reasons for going:
1) You have a moral obligation to keep an eye on Ironmug
2) Compo has been VIP'd to the hilt, so shouldn't cost ye much.
3) It's not like any of ye will 'get lucky' there.
4) Add to the rest...everyone knows those chickas aren't a patch on Jane. No competition at all. You're just doing your duty as a friend to Ironmug.
Reasons for avoiding it like the plague:
1) Well, there's only one, really. Is Jane in a good mood at the minute? Because if she's not, ignore all of the above...those excuses won't fly when you get home.
Have fun lads!
Lol spot of crossed wires me thinks. Hooters and the karaoke are two different places. Hooters is just an american style bar/restaurant with waitresses wearing little but not topless or anything. Its right near the hotel in notts and does a load of business with football fans etc.
Only one still going in the uk i believe.
Yep, wires crossed...but the electrician's been and we're back on track.

Harmony has arrived ... she found a vagrant outside and brought him in for a drink.
Nice picture. Glad to see Bainn finally decided to shave off the bloody beard

what a weekend, what a rollercoaster of a comp
what a night at the karaoke
within 4 hands i had already added 5k to my stack when a guy who refused to shake my hand afterwards
read me on the flop and turn for a hand beating his but was actually worse than mine called off flop and
turn bets before folding to my call me bet on the river (i had the nuts)
it didn't take long to get to 20k called a 200 raise in LP with 88 (50/100) flop goes 852 (floppy report it right next time)
i make it 500,bb makes it 2k i make it 5k he calls for his last 2.8k with 23o.
table starts thinking people are dumping to me,
i then take some chips off andy johnstone and a few less off m3boy, and get the 3 most dangerous players at the table short stacked.
the it goes wrong when some guy doubles andy up (he is on button to my bb) board is reading A37 last to act bets andy in bb calls
T on turn andy check raises him, gets called , on river of a total blank andy moves in and guy calls woth QT,FFS if your going to double the most dangerous guy at table up atleast do it with a hand that could be winning,
i then took out the guy who doubled andy up when i make a steal from cutoff too 600 with k9o, shorty moves in for his last 1000 (600 more to call) i 4 flush him with my k too his 9, i take out another player and i am sitting at 27k when i played AK badly (shock horror) against andy who i was trying to avoid, he makes it 600 on button i make it 1800 in bb he calls, i didnt like this, flop came out q high, i make a standard contiuation bet of 2400, he calls, rag turn, i make same bet he pushes for about 6 or 7k more i fold,
i am down to 19k still way above average but i played like a donkey with Kings in sb think how to i lose the minium rather than how do i win the pot after a flop of AA4, checked round Q turn, checks he bets 3k, i dont have him on the ace and call, he bet 5k on river when the T made him a straight and i still call, for first time in comp i am under 10k and needing to gather chips again
no-one read me for tilt when i had 4 hands in a row AQ,QQ,JJ and AQ, finally after losing some of the chips i had won back with AQ after a guy pushes on a flop after calling my reraise preflop i wake up with 88 in bb, 3 limpers sb raises and i push all in thinking he is stealing the dead money possible with 2 high cards or a snall to middle PP and my raise could push him off, but after what seemed like an age and a count of my chips he announced "i have to call" he showed QQ no idea what he was thinking about it was only another 7k and he 30k+ before hand started.
i've never ran so good but played so poorly ever in my life next time i am going to goto the karaoke before the comp starts might get my mind in drive instead of reverse
