Pleasure being on the table with you sir. Thanks for letting me know who all the Blondites were, strange how I feel you know someone when actually I've only read their posts.
Good luck everyone.

Club opens at 5.30 Baz, comp starts at 6pm.
I am sat in the lobby of the Jurys inn toying with the idea of taking Ironmug to Hooters for a spot of grub and a pre comp letch
ffs Dont tell Jane !!
Glad the updates were ok yesterday, I enjoyed doing them ... today I am flying solo, but will endeavor to bring you sketchy details of the comp and detailed reports on random tosh
Finally on this thread I would like to thank ALL at dtd for looking after me and the floppster so very well yesterday, first class hospitality from a first class establishment. Muchos Respect !!

Quick well done to the update team. just read the whole thread and it was like replaying the comp.
Also must say what a fantastic comp this is. well structured/well run and generally played in great spirit.
btw table 25 thankls ironside for the round of drinks early in the evening.
I was lucky enough to sit next to the owner of next doors "karaoke" bar for a bit. I am VIP'ed up to the hilt!!! (lets hope so)

Reasons for going:
1) You have a moral obligation to keep an eye on Ironmug
2) Compo has been VIP'd to the hilt, so shouldn't cost ye much.
3) It's not like any of ye will 'get lucky' there.
4) Add to the rest...everyone knows those chickas aren't a patch on Jane. No competition at all. You're just doing your duty as a friend to Ironmug.
Reasons for avoiding it like the plague:
1) Well, there's only one, really. Is Jane in a good mood at the minute? Because if she's not, ignore all of the above...those excuses won't fly when you get home.
Have fun lads!

Lol spot of crossed wires me thinks. Hooters and the karaoke are two different places. Hooters is just an american style bar/restaurant with waitresses wearing little but not topless or anything. Its right near the hotel in notts and does a load of business with football fans etc.
Only one still going in the uk i believe.
