Morning routines...

Do you have a morning routine, if your lucky enough to play poker for a living do you still set a time to wake up like we 'workers' do?
My Routine
- 7.45 the alarm sounds. vibrating and making a musical racket (children of the night on my mobile phone) i lean over and press snooze. I turn on BBC news and wait for my second bought of a dance classic!!
- 7.54 and i'm ready to sit upright, after i have enjoyed a few seconds of a very annoying tune! I press snooze again this time not to wake me but to inform me of the time to get out of bed! This is my fave 9 mins, i am warm sometimes if i'm lucky the missus is awake and we can have a sleepy chat about how we slept (same conversation everyday but i enjoy it all the same)
- 8.03 I'm up and on my way to the shower, i turn it on and flush the toilet (this makes the shower hotter than if i just let it warm up...dont ask my shower is rubbish) I then do the usual stuff and get myself dried and thow on the old suit ready for another day at work.
- 8.20 quick cup of tea (if time permits) and i'm setting off for the 15min walk to work.
My morning in short! The reason i post this is because today i changed my routine! Unbelieveable i know but last night my good lady said i couldnt get out of bed before 8...challenge accepted! My girlfriend works loads of different shifts and therefore some days is up and out at 7 where others she is up and out at 11, she mocked my little routine so i changed it...that'll learn her! LOL
Today my alarm went of at 7am and i got straight out of bed! I have had a good morning watched abit of skysports news (no sky upstairs) and had 2...yes 2 cups of tea! Maybe this will be my new routine!
What is your morning routine or does it change everyday!?

My morning is quite as well structured. It's a bit varied from this atm as I have the odd day off here and there, but generally it's...
7.52 my alarm goes off and I'm straight in the bathroom for a wash, shave and brush my teeth (shower time is in the evening for me) Then it's back into the bedroom to grab some clothes for work, hopefully I've an ironed polo shirt, jeans and the rest are always available
7.57ish, go downstairs, shoes, jacket/hoody, goodbye kisses.
7.59 leave house, let the chickens out and now my Father is waiting outside to give me a lift to work.
I don't like hanging around in the mornings, I'm not a morning person so I like to leave it quite tight.

7:30 alarm goes off for the older kids.
8:00 they call in to our room to get their lunch money and kiss good bye.
8:10 Himself crawls out of bed and gets the youngest up.
8:30 I crawl out of the bed and head for the shower. While I'm doing that, hubby is helping 10 year old sort her lunch for school.
8:45 I'm out of the shower and Himself is off to work.
9:00 Dressed and downstairs to kiss youngest good bye as she's collected for school. Tidy the house a bit.
9:15 Breakfast made and either catching up on news via the telly or here.
Some time after 11:00 Off to the neighbour's for coffee and the ole chat.

The good old days, 9.53am was the record getting up time and making it to a 10am lecture on time...

6.40am Alarm goes off again, my girlfriend gets out of bed, I roll over and enjoy the full bed to myself
7.20am Girlfriend is out of the shower and has turned the bedroom light on, I try and stay asleep.
7.35am Girlfriends starts using her hairdryer, I am now wide awake.
7.45am Out of bed, shower and brush teeth
8.00am Bowl of Country Crisp cereal and watching whatever I Sky Plussed from night before, kiss the missus as she goes to work.

generally goes something like this,
usually wake up 8ish,
down to kitchen, kettle on, & bread in toaster,
back up to bathroom, fill sink with cold water, place head in,
back to kitchen to finish making tea & toast,
then to office thats next to the bedroom.
So from waking up then getting to work it's not often more than 15 minutes

LOL - I'm not the only one then! Must be bloody obvious.
My alarm is set for 7:21, and it is snoozed three times before finally being reset at 7:48. Get up, shower, clean teeth, get dressed, get car out of the garage and leave it running to warm up the engine.
Grab fruit to eat during the day and bottle of water, leave at between 08:00 and 08:15.
Get to work between 08:20 and 09:00 depending on traffic and the time I managed to leave the house.
Open up web brower and download my email.
Open up blonde.
17:30 - 18:30 leave for home.
18:00-19:00 arrive home and fire up web browser and open up blonde...
