The young lady played her 1st Cash Tournament tonight. 0.10 Turbo:

PokerStars Tournament #77091311, No Limit Hold'em

$50.00 added to the prize pool by PokerStars.com
Total Prize Pool: $424.10
Tournament started - 2008/02/12 - 10:00:00 (ET)

Dear taximanph,

You finished the tournament in 17th place.
A $1.28 award has been credited to your Real Money account.

You earned 80.71 tournament leader points in this tournament.

Still maintaining finishing in the top 100 of all tourneys entered.

If I didn't know any better I would say it was rigged  Smiley

Well done Xan.

Thank you Snoopy, Yes life here is good, unfortunately though it is fairly evident that I shall have to return to the "real world" sooner rather than later, I am just delaying that moment as long as I possibly can.

why do you have to return?

Because of finances, I came here in Sept 2006 and basically spent all of my money on a project to help those less fortunate. My situation now is I have just under 1k left and my air fare will be 400 plus, so I will arrive back in the UK basically skint and homeless, but that was my choice when I left so I am ok with it, and I will do any work when I return, it is almost impossible to work here as a foreigner, set up a business is ok, but no chance as an employee.

Having experienced life here now for 17 months it would be my hope to be able to raise/earn 10K and then return here and live a simple but comfortable life.
