There have been a few flops, and even, just now, a three-way pot which saw a raggy board get all the way to the river, with Henrik Olander taking it with two pair. He also won a couple of other pots, but there have been no major confrontations. I thought I heard that Jim Reid was all-in a minute ago, but everyone folded and he's still in, albeit still short.

Just a note, to anyone who may be in a position to commentate on a live final swarming with journalists - we'll all love you if you read the SUITS of the player's cards and the board, as the two-second shot of the flop on the monitors isn't good for blindasabat types like me and old blondie. Bring back Greg Raymer - what a natural
Technical itch. Back with some news shortly.

Michael O'Sullivan out in 8th place
- he made a preflop raise to 30,000, and when Henrik Olander re-raised, he pushed all in for the whole 150,000, or thereabouts. Henrik called fairly speedily with his
, and found Michael with
. The flop came
, the turn
and the river was irrelevant - he was already standing up and shaking hands. He wins €29,800.

Jim Reid doubles up (with a little luck) holding
, against Joe Rafferty's
.
The board came
As
, and so he's back in it with 160,000 or so. Nothing like free drinks to generate applause. The atmosphere is really good, actually, with full spectator seats (I notice a certain half of Antesup has snuck in there) and lots of support for all the players.

This rather nice young lady is the EPT's answer to Shana Hiatt. But there is a difference - THIS girl has brains, good social skills, and an interview technique the equal of which I have yet to hear any interviewer, male or female, equal. She asks incisive questions, original angles, & is in no way sychophantic. She'll go all the way. Or should I say, she'll go to the very top of her trade.
