Carlo has been elimated by Jeff "chip hoover" Kimber. Jeff raised the blinds with A9 and Carlo with only 12,000 and K 8 tried his luck - and failed!

gl to zach, womble, alistair, Mick Fletcher, jimmy, maurice and all the boys still left in.

sick finish to a tournament for me but was happy with how I played and its just one of them things. I will be there for every other leg of the tour and I will eventually win a key pot somewhere I hope. See you all at the vic

Well played Russ, your luck will change soon enough, keep your chin up mate :-)

cheers mate I am fine honestly. If I keep playing well eventually I will make the breakthrough. Just hope one of the boys can come good now as there are still enough of our lot left in.

Ok, we've just been across to Chiquitos for dinner, players are just coming back with play restarting in about five minutes or so, with the bubble approaching...

Simon Zach is OUT. He raised from the cut-off and Scott Edwards set him all-in from the small blind, Zach quickly calling and showing pocket Kings, whilst Edwards showed Ace Queen.

Board:

Simon sat in a stunned silence for a moment having lost such a big pot as the chips were sent over to his opponent, before he realised what had happened and shock hands with his conqueror and wished the table good luck.

Luke Patten raises to 10k, Ray Wyre calls from the big blind.

Ray bets 11k and Luke immediately moves in. Ray wears a sheepish looking grin on his face, and straight away, you know he's not going to be calling, and then true enough, he passes.

Chip leader Jeff Kimber and Dhaminder Buttar who sadly isn't the South Park character. Sad

It's officially bubble time

Asy Ho was just knocked out by Charles Denton in SB BB action.  Asy was ahead with A4 but Charles's JQ pipped him with a Q on the flop.  28 left!

James Morgan is OUT. But he's not the bubble! In a major bugger-up, they've miscounted the players left and just broken one table only to have to move all the original players back. So we're still hand for hand. Fortunately, no hands were played before it was realised that there were 28 left, but whoever goes out now is going to be extra gutted.

James Morgan's hand incidentally was vs Nik Persaud's with a major sweat for the Londoner against the Scouser as the board came down .

Nik Persaud is on 225k now and not too far behind Jeff Kimber.

Womble has doubled up his meagre 11k stack against Pete Charalambous with A-9 against A-7. Charlambous hit his 7 but Womble four-flushed with the on the turn, to go from lol shrapnelments to lol shoveaments.

Well that wasn't too long a bubble - this time it HAS burst.

Graham Clarkson raised to 11k from late position, on to Maurice McCarthy in the blinds who reraised to 40k.  Clarkson said all in (150k stack), McCarthy said call quicksmart.  At this crucial stage:

Maurice McCarthy
Graham Clarkson

No help for Maurice McCarthy on the board, just a 9 on the river instead to compound his position as official bubble boy.

Here is what the last 27 are now playing for:

1st -- £83,910
2nd -- £48,790
3rd -- £35,160
4th -- £23,680
5th -- £17,940
6th -- £14,350
7th -- £11,480
8th -- £8,610
9th -- £6,460
10th -- £4,300
11th to 13th -- £2,870
14th to 18th -- £2,150
19th to 27th -- £1,440

Worse news for Maurice McCarthy, as he was leaving the casino, he just had his car driven into...

Exit time. Ray Wyre was out in 27th when his A-8 lost to Womble's 6-6.

Rupert Elder went out in 26th, Jeff Kimber had raised I believe, with Ace Queen, Rupert pushed with Eights, and Scott Edwards pushed  behind with Aces. A three diamonds board later and Rupert was heading for the rail.

Tim Blake doubles and a bit more in a 3 way pot.  Pete Linton makes a raise preflop, Tim calls & so does Scott Edwards in the big blind.  The flop comes:

Pete makes a continuation bet of 18.5k, next door Tim Blake goes all in for a further 79,000.  Scott just makes the call and Pete gets out the way, on their backs:

Tim Blake
Scott Edwards

Turn:
River:

Nice pot to Tim (200k) and it just goes to show what happens when you don't reraise and see a 3 way pot with AK!

Paul McIntyre was all-in with vs Mick McCool's on a board, but with the turn and river coming and , he departs in 25th place.

Just after that, Womble was all-in with Eights against Luke Patten's Jacks. No help on the board, and Womble is out too. 23 remain.
