I'm not really au fait with the 'pop' world but why did everyone think that Any Winehouse stole the show? I like her records but she sounded out of tune and was bobbing about like a teenager wanting to go to the toilet. Is it me?

Her voice is (and was) excellent.  She can't 'dance' though, and she probably did want to go to the toilet.

Because the other people performing were Mika, Klaxons/Rhianna, Kaiser Chiefs, Kylie and a performance from Paul McCartney which made me think Heather had won his ability to sing in tune in the divorce.

Amy didn't have much to beat.

Why does Macca insist on starting all his recent performances with that appalling song?  He's written some of the most memorable and influential pop songs of all time, and he sings that pile of turd.

I wouldn't say either are particularly talented beyond their looks.  But I prefer Kylie's...

Might as well - in fact I think they're better than that instantly forgettable song he started his performance with last night.  Can't remember what it's called or how it goes though.

Wish I couldn't - damn thing been going through my head all afternoon.

In terms of performance, although it goes against the grain for me in terms of my musical taste, I thought Leona Lewis was excellent.  In fact I think that was the only one I didn't skip through when watching back on sky+
