To be fair Dan, Torres went down like hed been shot on Tuesday..

...and yesterday he could have gone down and won a penalty and got the Boro defender sent off, but he tried to stay on his feet.

Most players go to ground to win a free kick.  Very few have turned it into an art form like Drogba and Cole.

My issue with this whole diving thing is the way the premier league is officiated. Because of the english game, and the way the refs tend to let hard challenges go, the foreign players tend to make the dive / foul look worse to make sure they get the free kick. What annoys people more is that these talented (very talented) footballers, need to dive/make a takle look worse than it is. Ronaldo is IMO the best player in the premiership, yet sometimes he dives around like hes been shot.
