How do you play a hand like this?

Me in the BB cash game with 

Three limpers and I check.

Flop comes  As

Now should I play that aggressively and represent the ace, or passively check it down? I was unsatisfied with how I played it earlier.

mine wouldn't change, still got 14 outs....if someone has the better flush draw then so be it.

I don't fear Ironside, he doubled me up twice in the Yongsta's Sattelite.

I think stack size is critical here, whether it is cash or MTT.

If I was short stacked, I would want to get my whole stack in on the flop (how to achieve that depends on the nature of the opponents and also their stack sizes to a large degree) to eliminate my positional disadvantage and get to see both the turn and the river to hit the draws to flush/ 2 pairs/ trips. The opponents are not getting any implied odds this way as I have no more chips to lose.

With deep stacks it is a bit of a 'mare. I hate drawing out of position. I check probably and pray that the limpers don't have much so I can see a cheap turn.

The problem with a bet is that you may get blasted out of the pot by a big re-raise and your nice draw ends up in the muck before you get as far as the turn. If you are still in the pot and see a blank fall on the turn, the whole problem arises again but even more so with only one card to come and plenty of chips in your stack still to lose! Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh!

I am very interested to see how some of the better players than me think in this situation.

See, part of me wants to really play it aggressively, because if you turn trips or two pair, it becomes impossible for you to be read...

I agree with this. In cash games you do get limpers with A7 A9 A10 etc trying to flop 2 pair. Happens all the time.
