There was some ?

However, I did not miss your lack of grammar, I believe your statement should read thus -

And on the subject of Him being in the army , he just shouldnt be.

He cannot be a normal person, because he isnt. So many security/risk issue's to the unit he is assigned to.

That is the price of being a Royal - rightly or wrongly

Plain and simple really.

Why shouldn't he be in the army?  Generations of Royals have served in the forces, I don't see why Harry shouldn't be allowed, and as such, he should be able to go to war for his country if he so wishes.

I appreciate he's not your average person, but he should still be able to go if it's what he wants and the army are happy to have him on board.

He's been pulled out of Afghanistan now and you have to feel that's his effective military career over, as there's not much point in a soldier who you can't send away to fight.

Call my cynical, which I am but lets just say the guy hates it or is in fact seen as a bit of a liability because of the added baggage that having a prince in the regiment must carry.

He cannot be seen to pack it in coz he hates it and they can't be seen to be treating him softly. So the stories of daring do from the front line leaked to the press and the obvious outcry of security risk etc etc mean he comes home with the nation having the view that he has indeed done his bit/ or was very unlucky to be pulled out of the firing line thru no fault of his own.

Like I said maybe I'm just cycnical.

Surely his brigade or regiment colleagues must be in more danger by working with him? Cant be fair on them...
