Andreas Andersson -- 300k+
David Barnett -- 110k
Mickey Wernick -- 210k
Gerald Morris -- 40k
Keith Johnson -- 155k (see below)

Allen Rayner has just been knocked out by Keith Johnson, both had similar sized stacks, but Johnson's A-Q connected rather better than Rayner's J-J on the Queen-high board. All the money in on the turn.

Le is OUT in 9th place winning £1,020. Short-stacked with only about 40k, he pushes with K-4 but runs into Andreas' Aces.

Nicholas Marshall raises to 20k on the button. Swedish Dave makes it 65k from the big blind and Marshall quickly calls.

Swedish Dave moves all-in for between two and three times the size of the pot, Nicholas quickly calls.

Swedish Dave:

Nicolas Marshall:

The turn and river come and and Nicholas dashes off half-way across the club to celebrate. He must have almost 700k now, Andreas now is stuck with a short-stack

Add more to Nicholas Marshall's stack, a raise to 40k preflop. Mickey Wernick called, and then another 60k on the Two Diamonds flop before passing on the turn.

He must have about 1 million now...

The sheer size and presence of Marshall's stack, has completely changed the dynamic of the final table. All the other players have completely retreated into their shells, due to the fact that Marshall's stack takes up nearly a quarter of the table. We've had a couple of walks for some of the players, something that probably wouldn't have happened maybe an hour. Although he hasn't done so yet, Marshall could really go for the throat now by raising or re-raising most pots and pushing the others about, knowing that none of them really can push back without a hand due to the size of the blinds. If a couple of the other players do double through him though, then maybe we might get a level of competitiveness that has, as of the moment, disappeared from the final table.

If the rough counts are correct, and Nicholas Marshall does have 1.2 million with 500k or so shared between the rest. The blinds being 6k/12k with a 1k ante, so 25k in before each hand, is it close for Marshall to basically start shoving most hands if it's folded to him?

Anyone care to do the math(s)?

Pete Charalombos moves in for 156k. Swedish Dave Gorman Andreas Andersson moves in behind him, Garinder Purewal thinks for ages from the small blind and passes Queens.

Pete shows , Swedish Dave has .

is the board and Garinder is more happy than most. Pete onto 300k, Swedish Dave Gorman down to just 60k.

This 60k goes in next hand with Q-T against Nicholas Marshall's K-J, the board comes out J-Q-Q-x-x and our lone Scandie gets back up to 120k.

David Barnett moves in from the cut-off for about 80k, Andreas Andersson calls from the big blind.

David:

Andreas:

Board: two spades .....

Close, but wrong suit for David Barnett meaning he's out in 7th place winning £1,785

The Swede is back from the dead, and back into the running!

One wonders how Keith Johnson is still in at this point, he has 65k/4BB's at this point, as he has done probably for the last two hours...

But fair play, he's sticking around.

Nick Markshall raises to 55k from UTG, Swedish Dave moves in from the button, Nick passes , Swedish Dave shows , it's all very friendly here...

Nick then raises from the small blind and Pete surprisingly just flat calls the 50k raise, leaving himself only 110k behind, which looks very strong...

Nick, perhaps unsettled by the flat-call, effectively waves the white flag and checks and Pete instantly pushes. Nick folds. It's all becoming a lot more close in terms of stack-sizes and position...
