£200 live omaha comp at dtd

4 paid 5 left

average stack 56k

you have average stack and the chips are evenly spread

table includes dave courntey lucy rocache and richeo and a unkown (to you and me)

blinds are a reasonable 800/1600

so no real pressure

all 4 players limp into your BB  you have a seriously poor 336j rainbow and arent intrested in the pot untill the flop reads

 three diamonds

you now have bottom set how do you play?

more from me on hand on thursday

Lead for three quarters of the pot and just react and play poker thereafter.

You are being beaten by several hands here, sets of kings, sevens, poss flush draws etc. I would check and if the turn is harmless lead out.  If you bet here I think you will get called whatever so I would wait until I've got a good chance of having the nuts and then bet out hard.

Bear in mind I have not been playing omaha long.....approx 2 days actually......but this is what I would do.

Im prepared to get my money in a lot of the time here. We dont worry about a higher set too much of the time here (5-handed, live). But you need to get the money in as the aggressor. Perfect situ for a big Craise imo. Price those puppies out.

agreed, your too deep to go broke with bottom set there, personally i lead for just over 3/4 of the pot, fold to a rr and revaluate on turn if called.
