Playing a vastly superior side, who's only downside is that he's useless with PFL. However its going to be a bloody tough game ( he has 6 players 40k+ rated)

So I'm on defensive orders, and praying to last

nd of Over 26 (4 runs). Staples015: 86-2, runrate=3.31
Packer   4-0-20-1
Mpho*   37 (70 balls)
Goodhead   12 (18 balls)
Last Wicket: Ashieq b. Packer 29 (FOW: 65/2)

not too bad a start

Mott   7-0-30-0
Mpho*   51 (85 balls)
Goodhead   37 (57 balls)
Last Wicket: Ashieq b. Packer 29 (FOW: 65/2)

Tough match for me, green pitch with nasty weather, getting worse tomorrow though!

I'm batting:
End of Over 46 (3 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 98-2, runrate=2.13

My best and 4th best bats still in with 2nd and 3rd still to come. Hopefully pick up the pace a little, would like to be getting close to 300 at the end of the day!

326-1     2nd (me)  v 3rd             should be enough to top the league

Just lost 2 quick wickets in succession, now 209-4. Brings in my best batter at no 6. His 55k spinner is doing ok, 3-39 from 16 lol

There's a lot riding on these 2, got a comp/worthless batter in next, then the tail.

Still scored many more than I expected already!!

I'm up against a better side so my main aim is to try and salvage a draw.

End of Over 77 (4 runs). Alfie Allstars: 251-3, runrate=3.26
Talamini 12-1-46-1
Christopher* 72 (131 balls)
Mohammed 60 (94 balls)

Last Wicket: Shilton lbw b. Talamini 73 (FOW: 149/3)

It was all going well until I went to post here. I blame Asa!

Just lost 2 in 2 balls...

End of Over 74 (Maiden). Bigglesthwaite CC: 228-6, runrate=3.08

2nd best bat still in...

Phone rang while posting so:
End of Over 78 (Maiden). Bigglesthwaite CC: 242-6, runrate=3.10

Fine blame me :p

currently 276-5 so that should be 3 batting points locked up. However my star bat is out for the 1st time in FC this season. Just means his average will be about 350ish Smiley

After these 2 is one woeful and 3 worthless batters. And to be honest, I'm amazed I've got this many.

Think the 2nd innings ( when I get there) will be much tougher against a 55k rated spinner on a dusty pitch!

End of Over 91 (1 runs). Staples015: 280-6, runrate=3.08
Packer   18-4-52-1
Hickey*   11 (17 balls)
Ravenhill   0 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Duke c. Packer b. Mott 35 (FOW: 279/6)

3 batting points now got, but lost my only batter.

If I get to 300 I'll be amazed!!

9 wickets down now, but Disley just hit his ton, so quite happy.

8 runs away from a 3rd batting point now!

298 AO stretched into the 104th over so fairly happy

Now to nick one of his 40k rated openers out before the close!

I'm a bit disappointed not to have taken more wickets.  I've got sunny weather tomorrow for my batsmen and need them to make the most of it.

End of Over 110 (5 runs). Alfie Allstars: 376-4, runrate=3.42
Capp 28-4-94-0
Christopher* 125 (224 balls)
Adikari 57 (76 balls)

Last Wicket: Mohammed st. Tau b. Talamini 72 (FOW: 285/4)

up against a very evenly matched side - and i could really do with the win since i've got to play 1st twice in a row next! Currently managed to bat 550-4 dec. and he's replied with 8-0.

i'd probably be happy with a draw, especially as im playing with a very weakened team, so im hoping my bowlers don't leak too quickly!
