I am sure someone else can set one up for you mate..or you can do it at a mate's house?...If you don't have mates..or a PC anywhere in the vacinity of your town..just PM someone and I'll they could  set one up for you. You don't have to play on it after all.

this is of course assuming the person setting up the account wouldn't get into trouble with the Blonde Team for doing it.

The Blind Structure, & Antes......

Mother Hen (Simon Trumper) has shown himself to be as good as anyone in the UK at designing playable Tourneys, so we have delegated to him entirely, the responsibility for sorting out the Tourney Structure & Clock, & if that includes antes, so be it, Antes it is. (Personally, I'd prefer Runing Antes, but I'll go with whatever he comes up with).

It's at DTD, where they take huge pride in having well designed structures, so it has to be their call.

agree entirely regards simon and dtd's excellent ability regards structures.
but hope he takes into the account the fun and newbie element into account when doing so thats all.

as for you prefering antes like boshi it wont effect you as you'll both be out before the antes kick in lol

We have delegated it to Simon, he knows he score - he cashed deep in a Bash once I seem to recall - so we gotta trust him to come up with the right answer. He will.

i agree in horneris a normal tournament.

but feel it may be harmful to a tournament like the one at the blonde bash. just my opinion but you rarely see antes used in a rookie tournament.

No idea, but I doubt it. We delegated it to him, so thay's that, he gets to structure it. He knows exactly what we want from the Comp, so we gotta trust him. And we do.

No. It is exactly as I said, I doubt if he's done it yet, but it's his call, & I hope he won't be swayed by varying opinions ftom the pro-ante or, err, anti-ante brigade, & just does best what he does best - design a great structure. In other words, I hope he sticks to his guns.

Either way, it's no big deal.

some fat bloke and yes...ok actually it wasn't a fat bloke..just an ugly one..and I wouldn't know about the antes as...I was out rather early

it is no big deal i agree, but im sure being the person he is he will take into account everyones comments and views on this before he designs the structure.
someone thats good at anything they do always listens to the customer and if the dtd threads on here so far are anything to go by then simon is the kind of guy who does.

ust hope more people stay for the sunday than last time and savour all that the blonde bash offers other than just play the comp saturday and go

I think the reason most  people (me obv) didn't stay last time was it was a long wait just for a quiz.  Also, bear in mind that the quiz at bB4 was bloody awful (not mentioning any names), there was no way I was waiting several hours just for that pain!

This is going to be fantastic, the omaha comp is a superb idea - count me in for that too please!

Oh and antes - surely a good thing!  I know some people aren't used to them, but they need to be introduced to them at some point.  If the comp has a friendly enough structure, then antes will only enhance the comp.
