Come on..all you guys that have been already.

Me and the Mrs are in Nottingham next week for this Stanley malarky BUT I have the Thursday off and we shall be having dinner at DtD as, I'm told, the restaurant is fantastic and all other nights I will be too busy playing poker at Stanley (I hope) to make it to DtD.

So what should I be ordering for myself? what is the best thing on the menu?

Im vegetarian and had the gnocci - it was superb and i would rate it as the best I've tasted.  Why dont you just go for one of everything and see what you think? You could do with putting on some beef anyway Smiley lol

hehehe MrsBoldie would disagree fairly strongly with that comment..but bless your cotton socks for saying it anyways.

MrsB is a veggie (and can't have Dairy) so I'm sure she'll be happy to hear the veggie option is great Smiley

I agree with the one of everything...pot of Tea to start with and MUST have the Eggs Benedict as everyone keeps going on about that..but don't know what to have as a main yet.

I think the eggs are a bar meal so you can have them later. I dont remeber them being on the starter? I could be wrong though as I dont eat eggs and maybe just didnt notice them? I did see people eating them as a bar meal though. The bar meals are great. I had a pannini with roasted veg and I dont know what dressing they use but it was awesome Smiley  enjoy Smiley

And maybe your height disguises your beer belly? lol

lol.ok will have the eggs a bit later then. beer belly? I most certainly have not..hardly ever touch the stuff..it's more of a "greedy six pack." Sometimes I eat too much crap or just too much food in general. ..I blame the makers of Quavers and MrsB Smiley

Their Egg Benedict is awesome.

However, they've introduced a new Menu, & last night I sampled their Omelette, as soft & fluffy as it gets.

It's described in the Menu thusly.....

"Soft, fluffy Omelette, made from Hens Eggs......"

Which, for some reason, rather amused me.

Well tasty, though, & it's HUGE. But it comes with Salad. Pah.
