Relatively cagey heads up play so far - they are taking it in turns to steal the blinds from the button with around 150k or so. Also a degree of limping/checking/pot being awarded to whoever bets first on the flop.

Was there absolutely no talk of a deal or a saver of any kind? I have to say I'm rooting for the local lad done good here so C'mon Donal!!

I don't think so, Neil did have some money on himself at 100-1 yesterday.. We haven't seen anything like a saver or something along those lines. On the turn of a , Donal raises Neil's bet from, I think 150k to 400k. Neil calls. The river is the , and Donal bets 400k, Neil calls and Donal shows J-8, Neil though is holding K-8. King plays and Neil takes down the first big pot of the heads-up battle.

Really hope Donal wins this, but I played with Neil on day 2 for a while and he was a pleasure to play with so if it has to go out of Iirish hands they are good ones to go into.
Come on Donal though, keep it at home!!!!

Sans flash, our camera gives the viewpoint of the future winner, circa 3 hrs from now, after hitting the bar. Here is a shot of the heads up, through whiskey goggles...
