You have to buy in online at betfair poker. Check the lobby on there and you will see the tournament registered

A short time ago the Grosvenor Casino Aberdeen pulled out of hosting our APAT Scottish Championships on 19th-20th June 2010. This was obviously a severe disappointment to us, and created headaches!
We had therefore to change plans, and now I can say what these are.
The International Casino in Aberdeen will now host the event, on the same dates
Saturday 19th June will see the two day £75 APAT Scottish Amateur Championships held. At present this will be limited to 100 players, though we hope this will be 120 players if the venue can secure sufficient resources to manage this
Sunday 20th June will see the £250 APAT Professional League Series event, with a capacity of 50 runners.
Both events will begin at 3pm, with casino opening at 2.15pm on both days
Sadly the Specialist Series event on the Sunday will be cancelled for Aberdeen.
Satellites and direct buy-in for Aberdeen will take place next week.
Sorry for any inconvenience, but at least we still have an event.
Thanks to all who made the long journey to Aberdeen for this event. Thanks to TightEnd and Pawprint (Richard and Leigh) for there support and faith in us. Thanks to Janice Fraser at Soul Casino for the loan of tables. Well done to TD Neil Munro for his excellent running of the events. Congratulations to our winners and good luck in the GUKPT.
It was nice to meet some of the blonde people and be able to put nicknames to faces. I look forward to meeting up with you guys again at another venue later in the year.

You, Sir, are a gentleman of the first order. It was a pleasure to meet you and take part in a very well run tournament. I hope to make your acquaintance again soon.

your buffet may have caused me some problems! I apologise for this as I now think it was more likely to have been the shock to my system of all Friday's beer followed by the quantity of food on Saturday.

If you are looking for some real value this weekend look no further than Betfair Poker, who will be hosting the Amateur Poker Association & Tour (APAT) World Online Championships. Saturday 24th July $50+$0 8pm No Limit Main Event, 10,000 Chips, 12 Minute Clock
Sunday 25th July $20+$0 8pm No Limit Six Max, 5000 Chips, 12 Minute Clock
The winner of the event will receive a significant cash prize, National Title & Gold Medal and an entry to a GUKPT Main Event. All three events are Online Ranking events; with 18 points available to the winner of the Main event and 9 points available to the winner of the Pot Limit Omaha and Six Max Championship events. The winner of the Online Rankings will win a GUKPT seats worth £1,070 and a seat at the APAT Champions Final, where they will play for a £20,000 sponsorship package.
