There is a uniform rule in the APAT comps, that they are left in play.

However it was a stipulation from this particular venue, this year, that the chips were removed after three levels and it was announced on the APAT forum on various threads at the time

It was either that, or no event, I am afraid

by removing chips then it frees up tables quicker for the venues' other poker activities which in previous years they could not fulfill.

are there any other changes to the uniform rules i need to be aware of? are blind levels going to be shortened at some point because to many are rocking up maybe?

There are no plans to refund, no. It's been mentioned widely on the APAT forum and everyone should be aware.

I'm not pleased that the chips are going out of play, but as I say it was a pre-condition of the venue hosting and that factor will have to be in our calculations for an Irish venue next year.

Of course not. I have already explained this is a venue led change, for one event only, that has been publicised for some time on the relevant thread on APAT. It was that or no event in Dublin this year.

There is, of those who have entered online anyway. It will be published once the seat exchanges have been entered onto the list, in the next 48 hours.
