Enquiring for a friend. When will seats be available for  European Amateur Poker Championship in Prague in December. And do you have to be British to play it or can you be of any nationality?

Cheers.

Probably after beginning of November when Scotland takes place but would start checking in October.

Any nationality - just has to be an Amateur player (no online professionals etc but is largely self-policed)

Any nationality can play

Best off asking on http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?board=2.0 about the Prague event timings

there are 4 events before Prague according to http://www.apat.com/index.php/live-schedule/season-seven/ so it won't be for a while yet

APAT have their UKCOAP championships at DTD over this weekend starting with the Home International Team games which consists of 8 teams of 4 players, 2 teams from England, Ireland, Wales and Scotland.

Unfortunately 2 of our players have pulled out and we desperately need replacements.

The title asks for players in the region as it is last minute but if you are willing to travel then please join us and be assured that it will be a lot of fun with some great guys.

Team event is over 2 days and starts this Friday at 6pm. Buyin is £55 a head and structure is as follows

Day One

6:00PM   Deeperstack NLHE 4 x 8 Handed STT's

9:30PM   Deeperstack PLO 4 x 8 Handed STT's

Day Two

2:00PM   NLHE 4 x 8 Handed STT's

5:30PM   PLO 4 x 8 Handed STT's

9:00PM   NLHE 4 x 8 Handed STT's

12:30PM   NLHE Heads Up Medal Matches

Points Scoring per STT

1st - 12pts
2nd - 9pts
3rd - 7pts
4th - 5pts
5th - 4pts
6th - 3pts
7th - 2pts
8th - 1pt

High Scoring Teams Progress :

First and Second to the Gold/Silver Playoff

Third and Fourth to the Bronze Medal Playoff

In the event of any team scores being tied, then Team Captains scores will be totaled and the high place given to the TC who has contributed the highest score for his team.

These team games are very competitive but done in great spirit and although its very short notice I hope someone on here would like to join us and take Scotland to victory.

Just a reminder:

You do NOT need to be a current APAT member to play any of these events. So players can show up for their desired event and buy in over the cash desk.

However, we do expect these events to be busy so online buy in is advised.
