OK,

SO my house went on sale on Tues - got an offer on Tues - accepted on Tues. Contracts to be exchanged in 3 weeks... Oops - need to move, like NOW

Have no idea where i am moving to, but need to find an area that fits the following requirements - so if anyone can help -  please, please do...

Commutable to Feltham
Countrified - I.e. i love the idea of the new home being down it's own mud track with gardens for the menagerie of dogs and cats
Obv good transport links
Village(y)
Sought after area / price retaining etc
Don't care about catchment areas
And am not into DIY

Anyone got any ideas on where i should look?

OMG - I know this is the most pointless post but please take pity and help -

Don't buy, rent for a year

house prices will fall, people will be much keener to sell in 2009, you'll get bargains

tough times ahead

p.s well done for selling, quite an achievement at the mo

Would imagine Surrey or Berkshire would be favourite, but no idea of villagy places - could maybe try looking at websites for estate agents in those areas?  Well done on selling so quickly btw, and best of luck with the move!

It's not very fancy, but it fits most of that criteria.
