Very approximate final table chip counts:

Seat 1: Alan Stearn -- 178k
Seat 2: Kevin Lund -- 196k
Seat 3: Matt Tyler -- 130k
Seat 4: David Stratton -- 175k
Seat 5: Ouday Hikary -- 220k
Seat 6: Daniel Byrom -- 148k
Seat 7: Chris Bruce -- 297k
Seat 8: Garinder Purewal -- 355k
Seat 9: Dave Smith -- 73k

And here are those nine finalists in all their glory, including Chris Bruce in full Brucie pose. Well done that man.

On the very first hand of the final table, Garinder's pre-flop raise with Eights was re-raised all-in by Kevin Lund. Garinder folded to leave himself with 310k.

Chris Bruce has added a Brucie bonus to his stack, re-raising Alan Stearn's pre-flop raise and forcing the Birmingham based player to fold.

Crippled by Dave Smith a few hands earlier, David Stratton open-shoved from early position two hands in a row, the second time getting himself called by Alan Stearn on the button. Kevin Lund in the big blind considered it for so long he had the clock called on him and was down to about 15 seconds when he decided to pass pocket Nines face up.

Alan Stearn -
David Stratton - in some hot water with

Board -

And David Stratton is OUT in 9th place winning £1,038. WP Mr Stratton.

Embarrassingly enough he was looking over my shoulder as I uploaded this awesome photo:

Very little happening at the moment. Apart from Matt Tyler pushing all-in uncontested, the only moment of intrigue has been a discussion between old pals Kevin Lund and Dave Smith regarding an fracas they had at the Gala a few years back.

Hey all you guests reading the updates, why don't you sign up to blonde? You'll be able to voice your opinions, cheer on your favourite players, make unreasonable requests of myself and Snoopy, etc. Also please view incentive below. This may mean absolutely nothing to you if you're not blonde regulars, but I assure you that Floppy is a good man and a fine updater, and it would be a dreadful shame if he were to be lost to us.
