I've just been reminded of a particular pet hat of mine- people telling you their email address and emphasising whether particular letters are upper or lower case

Standing at the supermarket checkout I always look around enviously at other shoppers who bring their own bags, especially bags made of natural materials. I think that's a neat thing to do and always pledge to bring my own bag next time, but in reality I have never even come close. I'm actually going to blame the supermarket for my lazy attitude because they make it too easy. Today I bought teabags and a pint of milk and TWO feckin bags came down the conveyor belt with my products. The girl even asked me if I wanted help packing my two items. Really Tesco should chastise me for being thoughtless instead of actively preventing me from being a better man.

my local asda doesn't give out free bags anymore. unfortunately they also don't have ones you can buy at the self checkout so I just don't go there

the local sainsburys tried the same thing last week but people were going mental shouting at the staff to give them bags so they've given up on it now and just let everyone have free ones again
