and why is it that while most websites can deal with me leaving the space out of my postcode there's the odd one that throws a strop and tells me in big red letters to sort it out. you're a computer ffs, surely you can work out where to put the space yourself if it's that important to you

What's up with people when they get to a pedestrian crossing. I mean anytime you want to cross a road you look both ways and if it's clear you walk across. But when people encounter a pedestrian crossing that thought process goes out the window and they stay rooted to the feckin spot until the green man tells them to move. I got to a crossing this morning and a group of people were gathered on both sides just waiting even though there was no traffic. What is this? I burst out from the crowd and walked across like any independently minded urban pioneer would. But I could feel everyone staring like I was in the wrong. Nah people, you are in the wrong. You are just standing on the feckin kerbside waiting for a beep to sound like Pavlov's feckin dog.

at a guess they're not english. this never happened until the recent eastern european migration, they're trained to wait for the green man and if they don't then they expect to get nicked I got done for it once in poland, could see a clear 1/2 mile in each direction and there were no cars but the policeman still did me. I tried pretending I didn't know what he was on about but he pulled out a polish/english phrase book and pointed to the translation 'you have committed a traffic offence' before taking my details. I got away with the fine though, gave him a fake address

where I got done the police were hiding waiting to nick people who dared to cross on red, just like traffic police hiding with speed cameras. I stayed to watch after and they got quite a few others
end result is that most of them behave
eastern europeans also don't really get zebra crossings as they're mostly just telling you where to cross, drivers generally aren't expected to stop

Bit of a mental week last week. Decided to have a few £20 deposits on my favourite casinos, it was like I had the luck with me 1000000% I managed to spin it up to about 18k in 12hrs, I was literally hitting everything and just increasing the stakes. (Obv brag sorry)
But real shitter was I decided to withdraw the 18k and flutter the last 50 quid on deal or no deal fruity at £1 a spin. I got into the bonus feature where the jackpot was 54k. Push comes to shove I have 2 boxes left and one of them is 200 quid the other the Jackpot. The banker offered me 500 quid?! lol. For real? So obv refused and didn't get the jackpot. Shouldn't feel too bad but I do!

It picks your box for you so I don't even remember the numbers I had left. I was certain I was going win big due to my luck all that day. It was on JackpotJoy.com and I know they have big winners all the time there so I didn't question if it was rigged or not.

A few moments ago when a couple of my tournies went on break saw me do my usual dash to the back door to have a quick smoke. I get to my cigs and find out I only have one left.. Sigh. I grab the sole warrior and fetch my lighter upon doing so I managed to snap the ciggie right at the filter. Noooooooooooooo. Without any sellotape in sight I try and get my fix by holding it together with my fingers, but i may as well have just breathed air.. FML.
Probs fate telling me to quit.
