We've a few round here that are decorated up already but tbh, I don't mind, it's miserable and dark when I come home so it's nice to have some shiny lights on in the street.  We don't have any of the over the top nutters though, they would really get on my tits.

I'm definatley with you on the shopping though.  Most of my presents are bought on line, I hardly ever venture into town.  Reading is the nearest decent town to us and it's just rammed with shoppers, it puts me in a bad mood thinking of going in when I have too.  I only have to go in for one thing this year and I know exactly where it is so that will be ok, and I'll grab a new pair of trainers whilst I'm there too so it's not so bad, even if I hate trainer shopping too.
