We seem to get quite a few people calling up saying that they are interested in a cup for £200, and  another for £150, but they only have £200 to spend in total.  Another guys just phoned, interested in such and such, I need it to come in at under £300 including vat, engraving and delivery.  Well the cup is £350 ex everything!

Who do these people think they are?

STT's ftw

At least when you're an MTTer and you've had a bad month, or a bad couple of months, you know that if everything goes right in one comp and you get a big score, that will get you back on track.

If you play STTs and are on a 50+ buy-ins+ swong, you certainly don't have that luxury. No-one ever wins 50 buy-ins in one night, it's just a grind.

I had about 4 or 5, $1000+ days at the party 22's back in the day. Though i agree with the sentiment that getting out of downswing in sngs is just grinding out the volume.

I suppose the 32 tabling regulars at the Pokerstars low to mid limit turbos have +50 buy-in days too.

I suppose my statment should read, no-one who isn't super sick or playing on PartyPoker via a time travelling connection ever wins 50 buy-ins in a day.

The nit roll.

I played dtd last night (blantant I didn't do 1k on Sunday tourneys brag)

I shove for 22k at blinds 1500/3000/300 from the c/o with Q9

Folds to the big blind who is prob c/l with around 80k, ave is 35.

he tanks

and tanks

mumbles something about blind stealing

tanks again

So I'm thinking rag ace? small pair maybe? KQ, KJ, QJ?

No- after a full 3 mins of deliberation he says "I'll gamble" with AQ!
