The players are currently on a 15 minute break. Just to prove that we're not lying and livin it large, here's photographic evidence of the masses of players leaving the playing area.

Good Morning updaters !

Welcome in France  Grin

so... if it is possible, could you have some news about Luske and Golser (in addition with the known Frenchies  Grin)

Speaking of that, could you make a photo of Michel Abecassis ? I have never seen the one who is the french speaker on Eurosport's EPT shows...

Make sure not to forget Trond Eidsvig today will you please?   Would also appreciate it if you could keep an eye on Stephan Kjærstad, and Annette Obrestad for me.

Thanks

Yes yes, shall do. Will acquire photos of Trond - many photos of Trond Smiley - as soon as I work out where he's sitting... I know which one Annette is obviously - don't suppose you have a photo of Mr Kjaerstad to help us out in the vast room full of 500 people most of whom we don't know? Thanks!

Unfortunately my pics were restricted to dealers and the like due to everyone exiting the playing area, but this young feline on the left is a visual pleasure. I'll have to hunt her down later on for another photo opp.

NAS appreciates such early efforts and looks forward to more updates. Any chance you could track down the ladies in the black dresses and get a front elevation as well?

Greg Raymer is in fine mood, new conch-type card protector, which I hazard a guess might be some sort of fossil, at the ready.  Early action saw him calling a raise from early position, then passing on a King-high flop to a chunky bet saying, "You've out-flopped my Aces."  His coordination was sadly lagging behind his table chat, however, and he accidentally flipped the as it mucked.  Not missing a beat, Raymer says, "Got to have my eyesight checked," which sounds funny coming from a man with super-starey hologram sunglasses on.

As I wander back into the cardroom like an eager beaver looking for a tree to chomp on, I catch sight of a railer infested table, swamped with TV cameras spying on the action. Using my notepad as a sickle to slice through the crowd, I spot serial (well, two) EPT final tabler Mark Teltscher all-in against a Dutchman, who I believe to be called Bart Wetstein, on a Flop. Bart confidently reveals Pocket Eights (much to the delight of the Dutch crowd), only for Mark to meekly flip over Pocket Aces. A non-Ace-spiking and later and Bart was raking in the pot for a timely double up, consequently leaving Mark with just four or five thousand in chips and face that looked like a firmly spanked bottom.
