I thought hargreaves was bought to win man u the cl by his defensive skills not to win them the league with a quality freekick.

WP GG
Thought we derseved at least a draw but that seems to be the way lately, our squad wasnt quite big enough. I thought we shouldve signed Woodgate when he went to Spurs if we did we may still be in the title race.
Sagna has been great for us this season and it has shown in the last few games when he has been injured we have not got enough quality defenders in reserve. I really think Wenger needs another CB for next season.

It seems like the Arsenal team lost it a bit after that Birmingham game. Gallas especially as club captain, shouldn't have showed that much emotion. Players like Senderos, Hoyte are definitely not good enough for your team, and I was also surprised that Wenger brought Lehmen back in goal.
Although, you have to admit that Arsenal have been very unlucky due to injuries to key players' and some crucial decisions.

serious post from me ... As someone eloquently posted on the BBC website, It isnt good teams that win the premier league, its GOOD SQUADS, @rse have been weak in the transfer market when they should have strengthened their squad to compensate for the injury problems, although it grates me to say it, but i have to admit that their season could and perhaps should have ended much differently if they had been a bit more active in the transfer window.... which surprises me given Whingers prowess in the transfer market.
Oh well, never mind

Yeah, the Birmingham game really knocked it out of us. Obviously Eduardo's injury at a time when he was starting to look a class act and then the penalty decision at the end of the game.
We have been unlucky with injuries and also some decisions but it seems that when you are on top of your game you dont seem to notice some decisions that go against you.

I definitely think that we shouldve strengthened in January, like I said Woogate would have been a good signing. We really needed a Defender with Toure going off to the African Nations. We did ok when he went and I think that might have made Wenger think that we did not need to buy.
We really need to buy a couple of established players in the summer. We do have a great team but we haven't got a great squad. We have not got good enough cover at CB or in CM. I am not sure why we sold Diarra. I know he wanted to play every week because of the Euros in the summer but I think we could have loaned him rather than sold him. I also think we may need another striker as I think this is the weakest set of strikers since Wenger has been at the club.
I hope Man Utd go on to win the league now.

central defender/dressing room leader
quality striker
replacement for Gilberto for squad depth
give Arsenal those three (no change from £40m) and they will be stronger next year and sustain their challenge IMO

Wouldn't be surprised if, Wenger fot those 3 for less than half that money he has that ability to unearth real talents and much cheapness. I think the leader he needs will be the hardest to find, I think Arsenal need a strong Englishman in their dressing room a Tony Adams if you like but these players are hard to come by.

I dont think arsenal have 1 world class striker adebayor is a good player but he's still short of that top level whereas the other 3 of the big 4 all have at least 1 world class striker. This is where wenger needs to improve on the 1st 11 imo.Well done and congratulations to torres on becoming the 1st liverpool player to score in 7 consecutive home games thats some feat. in his 1st season.Maybe arsenal should look to his compatriot david villa

I'd have Adebayor to Newcaastle in a shot (Obviously!). He's the second best stiker in the league for me (to Torres). Also I don't agree that Man U have a world calss striker - not that they need one.
