Double up for the toffee-eater (!), Micihael Martin calling a huge re-raise from Valeriy Ilikyan to find he has his man dominated with
versus

"Bring on the Russian,"
I believe I heard Michael say as the cards were brought to the centre. A
board was a clinical one and Michael survives.

Is it my imagination or does John Duthie always think everyone has A-Q?

Suffering a little here from not-paying-attention-itis today, I'm afraid. Did anyone see that last hand? Can someone who
is
paying attention confirm whether Denes raised first? Either way, Glen (re)raises and Denes moves all in. Glen asks how much, but passes, allowing Denes to pick up a 1.119 million pot.

Um, I admit that took a little less time than my Masterpiece (see p1). But honestly. I have to watch TV, drink tea, occasionally run into the other room to take photos AND play with photoshop at the same time. Like a wise man once said, "It's not about talent. It's about heart." You gave me the courage to carry on.

It's difficult to follow the live feed at times due to the hustle and bustle of the press room, but Maxime just took a nice pot off Glen Chonry with a 225k bet on the River. There was a bet, raise and call on the
Flop with Maxime making the final call before both players opted to check the
Turn. Chorny then called a 225k bet on the
River only to be shown what I believe was 8-7 for trips. Chorny mucks.
