I once knew a serial practical joker. One of his regular tricks was to hide a jar of course peanut butter down the back of his trousers, go into a crowded place, make a farting sound, and then stick his hand down there and bring out what everyone assumed to be a particularly scuttery handful. This he would examine carefully before eating.
