So if we now take it that Fulham will be going down to with championship along with Derby there is 1 space left to be filled with 3 teams looking most likely to fill it.

Looking on betfair i was suprised to see Reading as fav to survive at 5/2. Even though they do play Derby last game of the season.

Birmingham have there game in hand tomorrow against Villa but have a tough run in.

Bolton prob the most in form of the 3 play Chelsea in the last game so they will need points before the final game.

So where is your money.

I know a few people had money on Bolton at the start of the season did you/do you wish you had laid it off?

I think Birmingham need to get something tomorrow or they are doomed.  McLeish was a bad appointment although I'd thought he'd have been able to keep them up this season before getting the bullet around Christmas.  They stuck by Bruce when they went down so I guess he may get the chance to bring them back up if the worst happens.

yesterday was an appalling result for us Bolton backers

as you say Reading should get 3 points against Derby and Bolton have to play Chelsea

Somewhere, somehow I need Brum to pick up 3-4 points. Which is not something I've ever said before.

It isn't laid off, and I was feeling pretty smug that Bolton were done for until yesterday!

I think Bolton will still go down. I think on the last day Reading will be in the bottom 3 but will win at Derby and Bolton will lose to Chelsea. Blues will just about survive either by a point or on goal difference.

How embarrassing to lose 5-1 to your local rivals!

That hardly ever happens, right?

How things have changed since I started this thread.

Bolton are now all but save.

Fulham have shown the heart to survive and deserve to stay up imo.

Birmingham seen to lost it and are in trouble. Home to Blackburn.

Reading need to beat Derby to stay up.

Fulham have a good shot against Portsmouth whose season has finished.

I thought Blues would stay up but it looks like thet have blown it. Bolton look pretty safe, they are 5 goals better off than Fulham and about 12 better than Reading.

I fancy Reading to win at Derby, I am not sure that Fulham will win at Pompey. It will be interesting though what side Pompey put out. I can not see pompeys players going in hard for a 50/50/.

I am shocked that Fulham are even in with a shout of staying up on the last day, about 10 games ago they looked awful. For me it Derby obv. Blues and Fulham for the drop.

I'd like Fulham to stay up simply for Brian McBride and Jimmy Bullard.
