Has the forum lost some of it's "community spirit" recently ? I feel it has.

When I first started to visit on a regular basis it was a fun place to be but now I am not so sure. I have also noticed quite a few of the regular posters don't post nearly as often now, for whatever reasons, which I find a shame.

As I said its probably just me, but thats my thoughts.

No you are quite correct, as Ironside said it's his fault Wink

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Yeah - what Iron said.  Don't think it's as bad now as it has been at other times though tbh.

seriously though the main reason imo is because of over sensitivity of some members, people are afraid to post there views for fear of upsetting others.

I'm the same..the reason I haven't been posting a lot lately is because some people are just insensitive. I'm going to join 2p2 or something like that..a forum where nobody ever moans or is insensitive.

The family atmosphere is fine on here. I love this forum, it's grand..how could you not? You have that TJ fella of the telly's diary. Mr Red's tall tales of a Gypsy's past (and present), the best updates on the net, good hardworking mods and generally loads of well intentioned, good people that are too many to mention but that are always immediately willing to help out  ...Oh and you have Kin..who is just a bundle of fun...no really..he is...honest guv...OK maybe not Kin but everybody else then. ( Wink

There is no finer atmosphere than the one at a Blonde Bash..it's all good fun.

Sure, there have been some heated debates about non-poker related stuff and sometimes thing might have gotten out of hand a bit..but that's how it goes ..you have 8000 people on here..sometimes little scuffles are bound to happen..some people are bound to get upset by something or other as that is the way of the world..but at the end of the day this forum's atmosphere is truly amazing.

So stop your whinging and get back to posting...as long as it's not pictures as they piss me off. Smiley

I was just making a joke (not a very good one it seems) about the fact that you said "people are afraid to post there views"
but in saying that, you were posting your view.

Never mind, even I'm confused now.
