Liverpool deffo out now IMO!

Forget the fact that Chelsea have not lost a game at home for 4 years...

Forget that Liverpool haven't scored at chelsea since the 1990's...

The above in bold is enough for me to re-mortgage my house and empty all of my poker accounts and lump it on for the Liverpool win.

We don't have to win at chelsea.

1-1 and penalties would do.  As would 2-2.

You don't think Liverpool can score at stamford bridge?

I think Chelsea will score more at the bridge.  Liverpool had chances the night and failed to take them the game should have been over before it was.

Plus Chelsea were denied a penalty and you could argue for offside at your goal.

IMO and it is only that an opinion Liverpool are out of it now.

well if that would of been the 2nd leg after a 0-0 at chelsea it would of been sick, but another game to go,i just hope all the talk for the next week in the media is how liverpool have blown it and have no chance now, that will suit us fine

goal of the season in my opinion! lol

all to play for still but if chelsea think theyve done the hard work they could come unstuck. the first goal next week will be the decisive moment in the tie.

liverpool have not scored at stamford bridge in there last 9 visits, no wonder kinboshi is already talking penalties (the luckbox way how fitting  Wink)

i think it could be interpreted that Babel affected play, he makes the movement to jump but doesnt, that mite have affected Claude.
its the new inteferring with play offside rule that is too hard to judge, dunno why they changed it!

still a goal in my book but i can see the argument

I think it was Ryan Babbel who was coming out the box Chelsea played a high line to catch him off which worked he then made an attempt to put the defender off clearing the ball, that was interfering with play therefore offside!

I know what you're saying but also pretty sure you'd have a fit if it was given against you.

he was moving away from goal as play carried on, don't think any ref would've given that

I appreciate he was moving away from goal but he then proceeded to jump into the defender becoming active again so IMO it was offside.

And your probably right I'd be pissed if it was given against us, but we're used to it check the funny hand shake thread!

Offside?

If you mean drogba tackle it was clearly not in the box.As for they offside the rules crazy dont think half the linesman understand it especially seen as 1 of the linesman didn't understand that ashley cole being about a minute to late with his tackle and taking a lpool player(i dont remembet who it was) out and not giving a foul then it's a lot too expect them to get this right it was str8 in front of him ffs.

As for everyone saying liverpool are out hmm that means you must all think that neither gerrard or torres or any other lpool player is capable of scoring at chelsea and keeping a clean sheet they clearly are up against it but they aren't out of it yet by any means.Chelsea play shit football and won't score many goals so lpool have a chance imo.

Check this scenario out Man utd go to the bridge and beat chelsea therefore ending the title hope and there belief that they are unbeatable at home this put huge pressure on chelsea and grant when the cl there only hope and give lpool the extra belief that they also can beat chelsea.Man utd win 2-1 on sat lpool win 1-0 on wed avram signs on the dole a week a monday.

Imagine this scenario Chelsea beat Man U at the bridge at the weekend, gives Chelsea the big boost they need going into the 2nd leg next week.

I want Liverpool to go through but I just don't think they will.
