Both Celtic and Rangers have had more chances to win the league this year than old has been's have gone to scotland to end their careers. Wherever the title ends up there will be four of five more influencial reasons than a change in the fixtures now.

Never fails to disappoint.

Your lack of knowledge on all matters concerning Scottish football is frankly embarrassing, you really should stay off of these threads.

and on a more serious note, why can't teams play games 2 days apart?
they're pro athletes ffs.
I'm sure many of us on here have played twice in one day quite happily and then turned out the next day as well with no ill effects.
fixture congestion is a load of crap. just get on with it.

From Ronald De Boer in 2003

"If you look at Manchester United, they played Liverpool then Real Madrid, then Newcastle and Arsenal. "They have another game before they play Madrid for the second time, but I don't see them complaining.

This came after Celtic had asked asked for our Game with Rangers after we played an away match in Europe on the Thursday to be moved.

Examples being?!! I rarely comment on Scottish threads, largely because its people having a slangingg match rather than anything else.

A tongue in cheek dig with the past it footballers, but both Celtic and Rangers have dropped shocking points this season, especially in the past few weeks - these being there chances to put it out of reach (all be it not mathmatically) from the other. (Motherwell home for celtic and Dundee away for Rangers spring to mind)

The way the extention has been talked about its as if Celtic fans think this means that Rangers will win all there games now whereas previously they wouldn't have. If celtic lose the league this year it'll be because Rangers were better than them. Simple as.

I must never use a shortend name for a football team, even when assumed obvious that it can be only one team.

I know 10 times more about scottish football than I would ever want to.

The point being they could only of played Dundee United, so it would be them - why would I possibly know what people call them in general?! I have absolutely no need to know that, I don't think I have ever talked to a Dundee fan in my life! NOt knowing the name they go by doesn't stop me from seeing that they took points from Rangers where they shouldn't.

I would also like to apologise for upseting you. You are right. Hero.
