Question!!

I need to go home Sunday night (which I'm not happy about) as i'm starting a new job monday morning what time should i book my train for???  don't want to miss out but also don't want to be totally useless for my first day!!

sooo tempting to leave early monday morning but can't!

What do I look like, a Magic 8 Ball? Mystic Meg? lol  Wink

I really have no idea what time, I would guess after you think you'll be out of the HU comp, and before the time that you think "sod work, I'm having too much of a laugh to leave now"

Sickie is a very good idea - as Kev said, the Sunday nights are the best! (apart from the fact all the mods are officially off duty then... relax and chill time)

bb1 - I actually remember very little of (read into that what you will  )

bb2 - playing a comp (being rather tipsy too) with some the best Scottish lads I have ever met (and how will I ever forget the power of Newmanseye's Lucky Dollar) all in blind for ages and couldn't lose a hand! The most fun I have ever had in a poker comp.

bb3 - TheTank Vegas story, you had to be there but I can honestly say I have never literally cried with laughter for so long before. A group of us using nearly every glass in the Village Hotel - then having them stacked behind me in a glass mountain (whilst playing Village Roll).

bb4 - This was a Chiiiiiiiiiiilll evening, most of were knackered and de-stressing, we sat, talked, laughed, took silly picks of us all in blonde poker glasses, and ended up in a nice warm merry glow.

bb5 - The Yellow Sunday it shall always be known as, a historic event.

Sunday at blonde bash's - you know you're worth it!

yep, sunday's rock- my memories

bB1- no memory at all, possibly in the same state as Jane

bB2- abs superb quality comp with the locals, finalled with Jen, TJ (who chopped it HU) and others. if my memory is correct it then turned out TJ hadn't booked a hotel so we kept him company until the trains started. an absolutely ridic sng, £20 buy in, 6 handed, ended up with about a £500 prize pool due to a lot of rebuying. then some ridic double flop cash

bB3- cashed in the turbo tourney with the locals, then a curry with the dirtiest tabletalk ever (obv because cupcake was there) followed by the funniest ever session in a hotel bar, great poker and sex act re-enactment. finished drinking an hour before I had to go home

edit- just read claw's reply. isonride's knock knock joke=one of the funniest things ever but make sure you're drunk first

bB4- won all of isonride's euros in a set of ridic sngs before legging it into town with tantrum to get the last train

bB5- cashed again in tourney with locals (sundays are good to me) then proceeded to get more drunk with blonde's true reprobates and the yellow food moment

can't wait for sunday week now

bb3 - TheTank Vegas story, you had to be there but I can honestly say I have never literally cried with laughter for so long before. A group of us using nearly every glass in the Village Hotel - then having them stacked behind me in a glass mountain (whilst playing Village Roll).

Only a bad friend would a) remember a very embarrassing story his pal told him when drunk, then b) make him tell everyone else when drunk with the warning "I'll just make it worse if I tell it". Grin

That session had lots of moments where I was in real pain through laughing too much.

Was also the session where I shouted "Cupcake!!" across the bar of the hotel & went over and hugged another bald bloke - in front of all the famillies eating Sunday lunch Grin - I didnt realise what I'd done but Teacake was kind enough to remind me

Perhaps the funniest drinking session ever, capped off by the mountain of glasses!

We were all going to go play the sunday comp in the casino i remember, then we all decided we couldn't be arsed so just carried on drinking instead, clearly the better idea!
