If it wasn't for speedway I wouldn't be here. FACT.
Lucky there were no right turns to blonde then...

Why does speedway only go one way? Why does it go anti clockwise? Couldn't they go clockwise too or are the bikes made to turn into the corners only one way? I realise that is unlikely but I can't think of another reason why that would be like that?

Speedway bikes don't have gears so can't go uphill. Speedway tracks are designed so that anti-clockwise is downhill. The extra speed the bikes go at also makes it more exciting for people to watch.

Trace, this has reminded me of another conversation we had on saturday night about haggis and why they always run in circles. we tried to catch you out with the old 1 leg shorter than the other but to your credit you didn't fall for it. apparently you'd seen a photo of one and all it's legs were the same

You'll find your 'special someone' and until then, there are worse things you could be doing...so no worries.
when i think about the worse things I could be doing - it always comes back to the same 2 words - "ex wife" i take each day as it comes

Tighty, I'm as bad as you with this thirst for googling stuff.
If I get stranded on a Desert Island, give me a PC, & google, & leave me there, I'll be happy as larry.
If I had kids, I'd not send them to school - I'd introuduce them to google, & educate them via that.
I too am single......
Shall we marry?
Who's Larry and why is he so happy, if he indeed is?
