Really do hope he's ok. Ye don't know it, but he did a HUGE favour for me 2 weeks ago. Out of the blue, he made the offer months ago. He was meant to collect myself and a woman in her 60's at Heathrow, then deliver us to Southampton. Things went a bit pear shaped here and I wasn't able to make the trip. After a few panic pm's and phone calls, photos were sent to each of them so they'd know who to look out for.
As it turns out, her flight to the UK was changed in the middle of the night. Think he had to go to Gatwick instead, but they sorted the new info. between them. He found her no hassle and they phoned to let me know all was ok. That man collected an ageing woman he's never met (despite my not being there) and delivered her safe and sound to Southampton. He didn't want any money either. All done just because he just wanted to help another person out of a jam.
No better man to get through a difficult situation. That said, I wish I could return the good deed in some way that would actually help his current situation, but unless he moves to Ireland and bunks in with us (more than welcome!) my hands feel tied...and it's gutting.
Thinking of you Graham. xx

Time for an update
Friday 11th September 2009
So its now been 6 weeks since I moved out of my accommodation, and I am still living in my car, this is my choice and now I am looking at it as a cost saving exercise, each months rent saved will pay for something or other, as in the money saved so far is paying for this weekend in Leeds, and the money saved from Sept and Oct is going to pay for a ticket back to the Philippines in November albeit only for a 2 week holiday to see my maganda asawa (beautiful wife) Roxanne and the family, but that’s better than having to wait until next June.
Work still continues, I can’t believe I have been at the Hotel just over 1 year now (Sept 1st), and again I have to be thankful for my luck in landing the job.
So here I am on the train from Kings Cross to Leeds to attend the Blonde bash, its 10.15am and due to arrive around 12.30, grab a couple hours sleep having left straight from work before heading out and hopefully meeting up with some of the peeps for a drink or two later this evening, and then looking forward very much to meeting everyone at the tournament tomorrow.
Till next time………
Its now 12.50 and I am in the hotel, couldn’t post on the train, bloody battery died!!!

Taximan - what a top man.
He laughs in the face of adversity, blames nobody for life's bumps & bruises, sorts himself out, never moans or seeks sympathy, & just gets on with his life, wholly self-sufficient.
My utter respect to you, Sir.

I cannot believe you are still sleeping in your car after 6 weeks. Mind you when you're crazy in love a man's logic seems to fly out the window. I bet we've all done insane stuff in the name of love. But why don't you ditch the car and get a cheapy camper van instead taxi? Alternatively you could consider applying to pimp my ride uk. Pimp taxi's ride would be a great episode imo.

I did and there's one for £50. Granted it's painted to look like The Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo but it looked pretty spacious inside.

Ok ok The Mystery Machine has already been sold to some pesky kids but check out this bad boy. Introducing the Renault Master Sunsleeper a snip at just £300. The interior is way better than a car coz it's got stuff like microwave and wine cooler and you could still paint the outside to be like The Mystery Machine if you wanted.
