I remember looking at him and thinking I knew him from somewhere.  Not saying it's the same guy, but his twin was there for sure.  Thanks for solving the look alike mystery!

Was that HIM?!  Blimey!  Then I'm really in trouble, because I've spoken to him prior to this bash as well.  Sigh.  Will just blame it on the drink.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Funnily enough, when the Norwegians were here a week or so back there was one of them who looked a lot like Prince Harry, which I of course pointed out to him as the craic was amazing that week too.

Someone else at the table who may or may not have been the OP then pointed out that I was a dead ringer for the parent in some movie that everyone at the table apart from me had seen and much merriment ensued. In fact Prince Harry at this point asked me to say "masturbation is good" for effect. So of course I googled the movie when I got home and found Eugene Levy whom I must admit bears more than a slight resemblance and has now been added to Bob Dylan and the hustler/mentor guy from Rounders as my doppelgangers

I guess I'll have to watch the movie to get the full implications, but I do have a long memory.

Shame on you Laxie xx

Shame on you Laxie xx

I know.  I've grounded meself until the next Blonde Bash for being a shameful space cadet.

On the plus side...have seen the movie in question (due to a 'teen take-over' of the telly) and there is no similarity between ye apart from looks.
