I bought a pack of Mr kiplings cherry bakewells today(i actually got two, you got another one for half price or something) and decided to eat the whole box

I actually prefere fondant fancies but you only get 8 and 3 of those are the chocolate ones and i cant stand them, i sometimes buy them just for the 5 red and yellow ones but couldn't be so profligate today as i had the opportunity of 12 cherry bakewells for the same, i cant pass up that kind of value!

Anyway i got myself geared up to do the lot, sat down, put on a DVD and tucked in.

It wasn't really a challenge it's just something i wanted to do and there was a little part of me that thought i probably wouldn't be able to do it which made me all the more resolute.

two cakes in and my stomach starts to rumble, the icing on the third cake is looking  more and more sickly and i'm not sure i'm enjoying this endeavour anymore, i had to give up.

I do have a theory as to why i failed which is i was simultaneously drinking a pepsi which i think caused me to have some digestion problems, though on reflection this excuse seems pretty lame and even taking into account indigestion it doesn't excuse my appalling completion rate of 33%.

I wandered round for a bit not knowing what to do, surfed the net for some mr kipling advice sites and even watched jeremy kyle on the off chance todays topic would be baked goods insecurities(it wasn't), i'm just feeling really low about myself right now, as a man i think a part of me died today.

what can i do to regain my sense of self worth?

That is terrible -- you know what you must do -- it's the only honourable thing to do given the circumstances -- It was nice knowing you  dont river me

Oh man...that sounds awful...I honestly am lost for words..you have my deepest sympathy. Wil the misery in this world never end?

I thought I'd better post something otherwise TJ will complain how we never post anything in threads about disasters and only complain when it affects our wallets.

Salt and vinegar pringles are solid.

They sort of hit you with a hidden nausea punch 3/4 of the way through!

I would have said Brandy or Bailey's, but not both at the same time...otherwise you'd have a whole other problem.
