Watched it last night but the commentary & analysis was absolutely terrible.

They seem out of touch with the modern game & modern styles.

'why would you shove A3s on Ax Xs Xs flop?' errr he had ridic amounts of FE and basically the nuts, why wouldn't you.  Then when BeepBeepImAJeep 3bet jammed T8o on a JJ7 she 'loved that play' just because Kalo conveniently had 26s.  Il lay 100000/1 tht if he had J4o or something she abuses the hell out of it.

But yeah she probs has to say things like that i guess. Still put me on pretty big lifetilt.

Have to agree with the Chili Dog....Miss Coren is a OK as a lead commentator ( James Hartington does that well too) but as an expert analyst she ain't to hot...anybody else think that the Canadian guy played his pocket pair (Sixes I think) well against Luca Pagano?...IMO his play was awful but... not according to Vicky.
Smug, patronising comments are not going to make the show appealing...honest constructive comments may, after all this tournament showcases some of the top players in the World...the commentary should reflect that.

Hmmm I didn't think the commentary was that bad - altho I didn't agree with all of it, I think it was an effort to consider the options open to the players.  Anything without Murray is a huge improvement....

i liked the commentary...sure it wasn't perhaps spot on analysis but there was enough verbal amusement to keep a johnny punch-clock interested, which i guess is what they are after.

Neither of them are mates of mine (nothing against them, just don't really know them) but my comment was aimed at posts that i had read in the past about how bad Colin Murray was.
