I have recently started work as a greenskeeper on a golf course so have free use of the place:D, so thought i better buy my self some clubs, the ones in the club shop are all highend expensive ones so i dont fancy any of them in case i dont take to it and they end up being used to prop open a door , i saw these online and was wondering if they are any good for a beginner? if not any 1 got any advice, any help much appreciated, thanks http://www.onlinegolf.co.uk/golf-clubs/golf-package-sets/324scog/2220pog.asp |

Yes they look fine for a beginner but most decent pro shops will have similar sets for beginners around the same price and if you get them at a pro shop you should be able to try hitting a few balls with them on their range rather than buying blind

When I started I just bought a good set to start. Then there is no swapover when you start to improve which sets you back IMO.
They look fine for beginners though.
