"Team Managers must confirm with the match officials the exact timing of the "10 minute goal minder exclusion" no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled match start time. These timings once submitted can not be amended under any circumstances"
"The match officials signify the start of the "10 minute goal minder exclusion" with a triple blast on the whistle, upon which notice the Goal tender must leave the field and stay in the holding pen for the entire 10 minute period"
wtf is a goal tender ??

anyone see last years game between the vancouver whitecaps and LA aztecs? vancouver were awarded a penalty seconds before LA's exclusion started so LA had to put a defender in goal. it was quite a weak pen and the defender actually headed it out

Isn't that why Klinsmann is held in high regard over in the States? I've seen the clips before. Can't see any on YouTube, but I remember watching it on Transworld Sport on Sky. |
