Hey guys,

I'm out in Vegas from 15th June - 17th July and plan to play around $10k-$15k of side events at Rio/Bellagio/Venetian.  I also intend to play the WSOP main event.  The plan is to play most $1k-$3k events running.  I'll be selecting events which I will have the highest ROI in which means the priority lies at the Rio.

I am not bankrolled to play $1.5k events so am looking to sell around 50% of my total action.  I'm selling side event action at the rate 1.3 which means 1% will be around $130-$200 depending on how much I play.  Main event action will be $140 for 1% (1.4).

I play live at least once a week, often twice at universities poker society and I consider myself to be experienced. I've also won various tournaments at my local casinos ( DTD , The Isle, Gutshot) with zoo-like standards much similar to how I anticipate the WSOP to be.

I am very happy in my tournament game, always strive to maximize EV in hands, and can rival most in general ability.  Hand reading, pushbotting, trapping, seeking out good spots to steal are my strongest points.

There are several players who can vouch for me but perhaps not so many that are well known round here, I guess the best known here is Ben (Sunday8pm) who is a good friend of mine.  I guess the best I can do is give you my personal assurances that I would never ever cheat anyone out of any amount of money.

If you are interested, feel free to PM me or post here.  If you have any questions or just fancy flaming me (I don't mind i'm cocky enough not to care!) then also post Smiley

Thanks for reading

Good luck.

If anyone wants a % of me in events that are outside my bankroll, they can have it at even money BTW.

Hi Rupert

I wish you luck but selling shares is not easy.

You need to have an exceptional record to charge a premium of 1.3 / 1.4 .

When i came 5th in the $10,000 PLO WSOP event in 2005 for $93,000 i had sold shares at 1.5 but in November 2004 i had won the PLO at the Amsterdam Master Classics and ended the year top of the European PLO rankings , i returned to Amsterdam and came 2nd of 246 , but i have hardly played for 2 years so when i go to Vegas 15th to 22nd June and play the $1500 PLO with rebuys for which i have budgeted $6000 as that was last years average i would only sell at 1.2 per 1%. I am also playing the $2000 Pot Limit Hold-em ( if i haven't made the final of the PLO ) but as my only win in this game was during the European Championships at the Vic in 1997 i would not consider selling any shares.

All the best

I'm selling side event action at the rate 1.3 which means 1% will be around $130-$200 depending on how much I play.  Main event action will be $140 for 1% (1.4).

No Ta but good luck, at those rates my humble suggestion would be to start with friends and family!

Cheers

Rupert I think your best bet is to try and tap up people away from poker - people on here will know you're being comically over-optimistic with your figures, given your experience and record.

Someone who doesn't really understand poker will be much more likely to invest.

inform and competant doesnt really mean that mark up ben be realistic. Skalie last year sold a couple of 10%s in himself at spot to firends and other players. I have sold a couple of 5%s the same but you cant expect any poker player to back someone at a premium with no track record.

If Skalie was to come on here with the same offer he wouldn't have a problem selling a peice of himself but gl with this offer imo you haven't got a chance.
