Got to disagree here. Unless you want a call then this isn't enough.
lol you have TT, you don't want a call??
Set's aren't raising this board, well, they shouldn't be.
Not me mate. I want a call deffo especially with 6 at the table.
Just got the impression that the idea from earlier posts was to take the pot down. If you consider a fold on this flop with these chips then presumably you didn't want a call in the first place.
Agree about the set. Very doubtful. You can't be worrying too much about flushes Laxie. If you've hit your set you want all the chips in at some stage. You called for the implied odds but if you raise here you're likely to blow them out the sky.
Also there's now 17k in the pot so the raise isn't enough to scare off a flush draw anyway. The flush draw is likely to jam here as well imo.
Only reason to raise with a set is if you put the guy squarely on an over pair and think he'll jam.
EDIT. Sorry not over pair but big pair or AK, KQ

would he check raise this board with 77-99?
I think so. Everyone C bets these days if they miss and these sort of hands don't like to be bluffed by AJ, AQ who've missed. 77 - 99 definitely raising.
If not they shouldn't have called in the first place.

Thats pretty irrelevant as these figures fluctuate wildly depending on stack size table conditions etc.
prob more relevant is OPR info i.e. is he a regular and winner. This player appears to be a bit sporadic (BR problems?) and a small winner. I would tend to take his hand at face value and assume he has a K rather than making a move.

If he shoves i am even happier, snap call!
Laxie thats just paranoia! You can't be raising sets just because there is a small chance someone might have a flush draw, and an even smaller chance they might hit it on the next card.

i think i like fold best w/o reads. Most donks take the donk lead flop line w 77-99, i give a c/r a little more respect in this spot.

im never ever folding here...ever. I probs do same as flushy flat flop and check jam turn.
In his mind the only hands we can continue with are KJ KQ AK AA or a set, and that makes up a minute percentage of our range. i prefer the 4 bet jam on the flop than a fold, a fold is just too weak here imo, a shove will get all bar KQ AK AA and a set to fold.

While it can be said that calling to "see what happens" lacks a bit of direction, calling with a definite set plan "to check jam" is equally senseless imo. If spades, Aces, Kings, 10's etc...hit the turn the texture will be much different than if a brick comes, so our strat would change, no?
Personally, my inclination at this time is that our oppo is ahead with a K or even A-A. But I wouldn't be sure cos the couple of pots I've taken from oppo without showdown increase the chances of him having air. I think floating the flop with our genuine hand, seeing what the turn brings, and what affect this has on our oppo is the way to play the hand.

You can't be raising sets just because there is a small chance someone might have a flush draw, and an even smaller chance they might hit it on the next card.
I would add to this that when we call our oppo's flop c-r it pays to be playing the flush draw ourselves. If we naturally fear our oppo has spades because he c-raises when two spades are out, imagine how we look juicing the pot when there are three out there.
I think folding this hand is ok as well.
