Pretty much every sound tilts me. I like silence and darkness.

The sound of flies buzzing around & Hoovers & ChipRich begging for money are 3 that really spring to mind

Noisy children (other than my own, that I seem to have learnt the art of tuning them out).

The worst sound in the world is when you are kid free for a few hours/days and have to listen to some ill mannered, badly behaved, screaming brat. I would rather scrape my own fingernails down a chalk board than listen to them. I have been known to leave places (fast) because of them, I just can't cope with it at all.

Music in public places that I didn't ask for, don't want to hear, can't talk over and can't switch off.

Jeeze, I have to hoover now and again!

Whistling annoys the hell out of me, especially if it just random whistling that you can't even make out what it's supposed to be.

Whistling for me too - it really frightens me. If someone is whistling in the supermarket for example I have to walk away, I can't stand tuneless whistling for no reason.

Other than that the only thing that upsets me is "SEAT" shouted as I leave the table....hear that one way too often...

Excellent, one to remember.

I can't bear to hear a crying child.

it annoys me very much when a parent just leave's a child crying and even more if they attempt to stop said howling by screaming at the kid to stop.

I rarely ignore a crying child and on many occaissions have actually went out the house to pacify someone elses crying child.

I get some strange looks whilst in supermarkets etc attempting to pacify kids abandoned on trolleys by singing silly songs or pulling strange faces.

If it keeps the kids happy, so be it.

a) Is that Graham, you've expressed an interest in the stock market recently, have you heard of XXX

or

b) Can I speak with the person who deals with your business insurance/phone/utilities/website/advertising/marketing etc etc

Seem to be getting an influx atm.
