A hard fought 2-1 win over Fiorentina takes me to the top of the league,but at some cost, Walcott was dismissed for a 'disgraceful' challenge and Gallas and Arshavin both picked up injuries.

ul Tighty, I seem to play better against the bigger teams - beat the champs Chelsea twice last season. Not to worry though, you and AndrewT have the best squads imo and you won't be far away this season |

yeah, got my tactics wrong for this one...after I had my man sent off and the subs came on they finally played how I wanted them to. I really need to start looking closer at the formations and all that...should have won this with the new players I brought in. GG Kev. |

Terrible result for me tonight, losing 1-0 at St Andrews. Not entirely unexpected after they had held Man Utd there last week but disappointing all the same. One shot on target the whole game obv isn't good enough.
Could be worse, I could be the Wigan manager!
In the bottom 3 now but that won't last - confident of a push up the table over the coming weeks.
