Liverpool lost the Mersey derby 1-0 after having Mascherano sent off in the 22nd minute.
Playing pretty much a scratch team now with Gerrard/SantaCruz/Babel injured and Mascherano/Crouch suspended.
Does a cup bye count as a game in terms of suspensions in sm?

First loss of the new season came in the cup tonight with a shocking penalties defeat for my reserves away to Swindon after a no score draw. Pompey away up next in the league and a fair chance I could drop my first league points.

Put my 2nd team out vs Wigan as first team were knackered and we beat 2nd in league Wigan 2-0. 1st team have been getting beat left right and centre though, stupid game. lol
