I don't think there's anything wrong at all with that deal.  I offered up a deal before I went out, no one went for it though.  Fair enough there were 112 people still in, but I thought it was worth a try.

meh, i hate to keep this going, i like maria a lot, but id love to play against everyone who thinks this is a good deal long term.

Circumstances at the time should have nothing to do with this. Poker is all about long term expectations and in that case its a bad deal. Id like to hear flushy, mr chopper himselfs view on this.

A question for all those who would have dealt, would you have given maria the extra 2k and told her to play on and you keep anything extra? i certainly would have!

Yes, the only choice was deal or no deal.  The only way she could have got more is by playing on and then someone being knocked out ahead of her.  This would have meant having to out flop Ali Ahmed - and that quite simply wasn't going to happen...

Was a great weekend of poker for blondes ...

Lets look at the evidence

Friday £20 Rebuy

Evil pie took just over £2k
I took £1.5k
Greg Hill (Junior) took £500

Main event

Maria took £7k
Pelham Boy took £3k
bookiebasher £2.4k

Sunday £200

EvilPie took ANOTHER £3k

Sunday £100 rebuy

Chubbs scooped £3.5k

It pays to be a blonde OBV.

EvilPie runs sooooooo good!

He made another final last night!

He had a 2-1 chip lead when it went heads up.

But i smashed his fishpie in two hands.

Stuart Hopkin ships £50
Evilpie takes £30 for second

You might be the man at DTD but when it comes to a £5 pub league game with 19 runners your only ever gonna be second best.

It was a weekend brag post only.

I would never disrespect the Wheelhouse £5 freezeout you know that.

It's the one that we all really want.

I shared a Table with Mr Pie in the £200, & have only just realised he ended up winning it - top man you!

I thought you played terrific throughout, though that spite-call & suckout with 8-8 that busted me was a shocker.

Well done you, keep them coming, that's some game you got there.

Hi mate didn't realise that you were on the blonde forum.

How was I supposed to figure out that StuartHopkin was actually my close friend and poker buddy Stuart Hopkin.

These nicknames really can be difficult to figure out sometimes
