All the staff at Grosvenor Blackpool thank everyone for their kind comments. All these positive comments make us know we are doing things right. Which with poker players can take some doing as we all know. HEHEHE

I've enjoyed meeting you all, and putting faces to names, like Colchester Kev and Nottingham Nick etc. etc.

Thanks to the Notts boys who trebled the bar take on Friday night after their triumph in the inter casino heads up challenge. Hope we as a poker community can take the idea on board and expand it. Would be good to make it a regular occurence in festivals. Maybe even advertise it as part of the festival. Home team against the current holders or something like that. And Rob, you can shout down the microphone anytime you want to mate. That could be the prize for the winners. Smiley

Thanks to all the locals who played Satellites every monday to try to get into the Main Event.

Thanks to Tikay, Claire, Colchester Kev, Rob Cooper, Ironside, and even Mr Raab of Blue Square for the updates.

And finally thanks to all the entrants in the Blackpool Bonanza, without which it wouldn't have been as successful. I have spoken to many of you and take on board all your comments. Plans are already in motion to improve November's Festival.

And Poker 425 for bringing a little razzmatazz to the Main Event's conclusion.

My own personal thanks to the dealers, supervisors, valets, receptionists, and everyone else who worked all week for some very long and hard hours.

Well done yogi for a great event. Wish you had been there on the last night when the casino management put claire in an awful position. You wouldn't have stood for it I know thats for sure. Great week and look forward to the next festival.

On another note, Jimmy Alp told me he's staying in Blackpool for a few more days and is going to play in your regular weekly comps.  I expect him to final in a couple of them - win one and go out on a horrific hand in the other, which may indeed be 'sooted'...

Any updates on how true this prediction is would be appreciated.
