Make good money at Turbo Heads Up SNGs

Hello,
I have been trying to find my 'home' among all the different poker formats for some time now. I make ok money at each think I have made a few accurate (?) observations about the different ones.
Cash vs tourney comes down mainly to the type of player you are (although some say broadly speaking you need a good cash game if you want good good money, on the whole)
Multitable tournaments do have a drawback in possible length of time without cashing
6/10 Sit n goes offer plenty of action and offer more ways of winning than cash games (ie sheer patience is increasing your equity in many Sit n goes)
I have always dabbled in 2 seater sit n goes, mainly to improve my final heads up game in other tournaments. I have noticed over the past while that my return in these games seems to be outperforming my other formats. I have grown to dislike cash because of the fairly intense mental focus involved for long periods with the possibility of very little return. Heads up seems to offer advantages over other sit n goes because less luck is involved (you play a very large number of hands without being forced by the blinds, even in turbo) and the sheer number of hands and the way you can get to know an opponent very well both amplify the edge a good player has (not saying I am one lol).
I was basically trying to flesh out possible answers to the query I had about why so many of the big online money earners seem to specialize in Turbo Heads Up Sit N Goes. Is this a game format I should be leaning towards more? Why do they choose this? Not just action junkies, surely?
Thanks!

Welcome to blonde!
turbo's vs normal SNGs for most I would imagine is a function of required win rates per hour and the "boredom" factor associated with the slower SNGs. For Heads Up formats, the first factor...likely win rates per time period if you can have a magnified edge is the important one I think.

Rakeback/loyalty scheme is also a big deal when you play HU..make sure you play on a site that gives you a good one. If you play cash HU you pay a lot more rake than full handed or 6 handed. The goes for STT HU. Rakeback can make a significant contribution to your monthly income.

Thank you gents for all the replies. I did not for the life of me consider rakeback. What is the addition to your ROI do you think if you play average stakes at 35%?
I'm thinking these guys get through a lot of games, tightend, thank you. I'm fed up with hours of effort in 6 seaters to get my buyin back plus a little more. I know there are multitablers but I don't know how people do this for sit n goes. So many decisions based on player observation, imho.
Thanks!

I have just had another peek at the leaderboard on that site (the one where they trawl netgames to compile player stats). Amazing how many on the main leaderboard are pure 2 seater players.

the camel is a HU player online i believe
i prefer HU cash to HU SNG but the rake is higher in a cash game
so a good loyalty bonus is a must

All depends on how many you play...but consider it this way...any decent rakeback/loyaltyscheme (FFS Kev help a brother out here!) will be atleast 29%+ (I'm doing my best here Kev now send the guy/girl(?) a PM dammit!) and if you play 1k STTs every month that really adds up.
HU it can make all the difference as you'll find you'll be running fairly close if you play a lot of STTs

Thank you. One kind gentleman did PM me the details for blonde. I see there are some independent companies pushing rakeback deals they have with sites. Some of the sites I am on have no rakeback deal at all it seems.
I did notice TheCamel on the leaderboard but he's off it now, did he get the [comment deleted by eyerolling moderator]?
